Tuition and Fees

for the 2022 – 2023 school year

We aim to make a Gross Schechter education accessible to all who wish to provide their children with an unparalleled Jewish day school experience. Thanks to the generosity of organizations, families and individuals, we are able to offer tuition rates at only 50% of the total cost of a Schechter education. We are grateful for the support we receive that enables so many families to access Schechter.

Tuition is set annually by the Board of Directors, and is posted on this site each January for the following academic year.

Infant Care

Full Day Infant Care (Mondays – Fridays: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm*):

5 days a week $400/week

*Fridays (November – February) – 8:00 a.m. until a 1/2 hour before Shabbat begins

Security Fee: $80/billing cycle – monthly

Early Childhood Center (ECC)

Core Program (8:30 am – 1:00 pm) – REQUIRED

5 Mornings (18 months, 2s, 3s and pre-K): $7,200 and Lunch Fee* $450
3 Mornings (18 months, 2s and 3s) – on a space available basis: $4,700 and Lunch Fee* $350

ECC After Care

Preschool (18 months – K*) ONLY Schechter Aftercare

Aftercare for children in preschool (3:30-5:15** pm) is available as a pre-paid option. Please contact Janna Dorfman, director of admissions, for pricing information at 216-763-1400 x417 or jdorfman@grossschechter.org.

*K Aftercare at Schechter provided on request. Most children join J-Kids at the JCC (see below) when in K.
**Fridays (November – February) – aftercare is available until 1 hour before Shabbat begins.

Kindergarten through 6th Grade Aftercare

Aftercare for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade is available in partnership with the Mandel JCC in their J-Kids Club. Transportation is provided from Gross Schechter. J-Kids Club offers:
