“Being a teacher is a worthwhile endeavor. That way, you may find a good student and learn a few things yourself” said the Tzaddik (righteous rabbi) from Gur. Under the guidance of Rabbi Josh Foster and fourth-grade teacher, Oudi Singer, the 4th-grade students recently demonstrated amazing skill in learning and mastering the tropes needed for reading Torah.

In honor of this new skill, each of the students received a Tikkun which was generously donated by the Morry Malcmacher family. The annual Tikkun Ceremony took place on May 24th. After leading t’fillah, each student read a pasuk from their own Tikkun and shared in meaningful song. Watching the class tackle a new skill with such zest and love has truly inspired me.
