Rabbi Ben became part of the Gross Schechter Day School in 2015. Rabbi Ben Shlimovitz graduated from the University of Minnesota with a major in  East Asian Studies and minors in Chinese and music performance.  He spent six years in Israel studying in yeshiva, receiving rabbinic ordination from Rav Zalman  Nechemia Goldberg, Av Beit Din of Jerusalem.  He comes to Cleveland via Minneapolis where he taught at the Minneapolis Jewish Day School and the Talmud Torah of Minneapolis.
