LIFE & LEGACY® is a partnership program offered by the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation that provides training, support and monetary incentives to help organizations secure meaningful after-lifetime legacy gifts. Through this program, a strong partnership between the Jewish Federation and its agencies is solidified.
Gross Schechter Day School is one of 12 partner agencies in a four-year partnership that assists communities across North America in promoting after-lifetime giving in order to sustain valued organizations and vibrant Jewish communities.
Through this program, we expect to grow our endowment and legacy giving and help ensure GSDS’s financial stability into the future. We hope to normalize legacy giving, where talking about wills and bequests are no longer taboo, while building camaraderie and respect among our partner organizations.
Legacy gifts can be made in a number of different ways, a pledge that is payable on death, naming GSDS as a beneficiary of a financial asset, as a charitable gift annuity, naming GSDS a beneficiary of an insurance policy, etc. Please contact your financial advisor or attorney to discuss the best options for you.
To make your first step in leaving a legacy gift to GSDS, simply sign your Letter of Intent or with any basic program questions, please contact Renee Greller, Director of Development at 216-763-1400 ext 419 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
