No WIR Video Due to Short Week!
Week in Review – October 11, 2019We are all getting excited about the upcoming SPA sponsored Sukkah-Fest next Thursday evening from 6-8pm!. We hope that all our families come and join the fun. There will be singing, dancing, hay rides, stories and refreshments and a whole lot of Schechter Sukkot joy and ruach.
Plans have already begun for the amazing Read for Life program. The committee is being formed and the first planning meeting is scheduled for next Thursday morning. This program is always a highlight of the school year and, no doubt, will be better than ever this year. Early literacy development and a love of lifelong reading are two important outcomes of this wonderful program.
Did you know that Gross Schechter will be hosting a football training camp hoping to develop future Cleveland Browns players? That’s right, Coach K has started a “Football Training Camp” for students in Pre-k and Kindergarten as well as a camp for students in Grades 1-3. Sheri Gross is organizing a staff choir this year. And you thought our talented staff could only teach! The soccer team ended their season by participating in the final tournament. Although their record was not what they had hoped, they played hard, showed great sportsmanship and came together as a team.
