Dear Families and Friends,
Today we spent the day walking around to many famous places in Jerusalem. We started off our day with tefilah at Robinson’s arch. For years at school, we have faced Jerusalem while doing our tefilah and it was really impactful to be in Jerusalem facing the Kotel during our tefilah. We went to a virtual reality program which explained the history of the Kotel and the Temple. We then had time to say our own prayers at the Kotel. For lunch, we had a pizur where we bought our own lunches outside of the Kotel.
After lunch, we went to Hezekiah’s tunnel, where we walked through water tunnels and learned about how they connected to the Tanach. For dinner, we had a barbeque dinner at Tichon Ramah Yerushalayim. High-schoolers who went to the Ramah High-school ran games for us and a few other eighth grade groups to wrap up Yom HaAtzmaut.
